Welcome to Local Legend Eats, where we specialize in crafting delicious burgers, bites, and fries made from premium, locally sourced ingredients. Established in February 2022 by our master burger maker, Racine Oliveira, we turned the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and the demise of his old business into an opportunity to create a unique food truck experience in Auckland.

Our journey began with extensive renovations on our original food truck in between lockdowns in 2021, and by the summer of 2022, we were proud to be fully booked from October to January 2023.

In mid 2023, we expanded by adding a custom-built large food truck designed for major events, enabling us to participate in some of Auckland's biggest gatherings. We have had the pleasure of serving at All Blacks matches, international concerts featuring artists like Pink, Post Malone, and Lorde, as well as music festivals such as Laneway, Splore, and Highlife NYE. Additionally, we are honored to partner with recognized brands in catering, including Bunnings Warehouse and Barfoot & Thompson, MediaWorks and many others.

While our primary focus is on delivering exceptional burgers, we also prioritize providing an outstanding customer experience. We are dedicated to sustainability, utilizing compostable serveware to minimize our footprint. Our passion for locally sourced ingredients shines through in every meal, as we strive to create not just food, but memorable moments with our customers.
